Polypropylene anticorrosion tape
Polypropylene anticorrosion tape Fiber Anticorrosion Tape is a new-type environmental protection anticorrosion product, which is free from pollution or other damage. The backing material of the product is modified PP woven fabric cloth, and the anticorrosion layer of it is butyl rubber modified asphalt. Since its backing material is of fabric structure it can resist effectively the creep caused by soil stress. Crowned with the title “championship in anticorrosion”, it represents the highest level of cold-applied anticorrosion tapes at home and abroad. It can be used for the purpose of steel pipe and underground steel tank surface corrosion resistance and rehabilitation for various pipelines in facility projects of petroleum, petrochemical industry, city gas, oil and gas storage and transportation, power, water supply etc.
Applications
Surface treatment: Remove rust, welding spatter, burr, oil or filth and keep it clean and dry. If the rust is removed manually, the effect should reach St3; if mechanically, the effect should reach Sa2 and comply with SYJ4007 86.
Primer coating: Specialized matching primer is supposed to be used. During the process keeping it away from the fire, mix it evenly and use clean brush, roller or other mechanical method to coat it. The appropriate primer quantity applied is 12㎡／L by manual coating, and 20㎡／L by mechanical coating.
5 to 10 minutes after the prime coating surface dried, the wrapping can be started. Back to the duct: After passing all the inspection, it can be put back to the duct.
